The rustic pine

This unique pine table, purchased from a trade-only furniture store, boasts a wealth of character and detail. My primary concern was selecting a finish that would enhance, not diminish, its natural beauty. Pure Rubio Monocoat would have imparted an undesirable yellow tint to the pine. To address this, I presented the clients with four alternative colors: Smoke 5%, White 5%, Natural, and White. They opted for Natural, which perfectly complemented the table's character. The original wax finish had left the clients hesitant to use the table for fear of damaging it. Now, with a durable and protective Rubio Monocoat finish, they can finally enjoy this beautiful piece, just in time for Christmas.
