Farmhouse Table

to Its Former Glory

This once-vibrant farmhouse table had lost its luster due to a failed varnish restoration. The sticky, unusable top demanded careful attention.

To preserve the table’s unique character, we avoided excessive sanding. Instead, we targeted specific black marks left by a vase using Rubio Monocoat’s effective tanin remover. This gel gently lifted the stains without damaging the underlying wood.

Finally, we revitalized the table with a Rubio Monocoat 2C pure oil finish. The rich, natural color brought out the table’s beauty, restoring its original charm.
